How We’re Designing for Comfort at Mach 1.7 Supersonic Speeds

Jun 28, 2025

Speed should not come at the cost of comfort. At Sonic Jets, we are designing aircraft interiors that match the ambition of our performance goals. Every element of the passenger experience is being considered with care — from noise levels and lighting to seating and spatial layout.

Flying at Mach 1.7 introduces unique challenges, but also unique possibilities. Our aircraft will cruise above 55,000 feet, offering views of the Earth’s curvature and access to smoother air with less turbulence. The cabin will be pressurized for comfort and optimized for acoustics, ensuring a quiet environment even at high speeds.

We are also rethinking what a cabin can be. Large windows, ambient lighting, and ergonomically designed seating are being integrated into every design phase. Whether you are working, resting, or simply enjoying the journey, the interior is designed to enhance well-being.

Our goal is not just to build a faster aircraft. It is to build an aircraft that people want to fly — again and again.
